Excavation wall stabilization

JPC Consultants inc. consolidates slopes to allow steeper excavations, on a temporary or permanent basis, notably through the use of APAJA anchors. These solutions can be used in various types of soil, including stiff to medium clay, sand and silt. However, they are not designed for rock walls.

• Greatly reduce costs by saving on backfill and excavation
• Attractive appearance that is excellent for the environment
• Avoid much more expensive retaining structures such as soldier pile and lagging walls
• Avoid installing temporary concrete block walls or similar, which can be difficult to put in place
• Carry out work on riverbanks and similar areas, since these anchors have little environmental impact. Over the long term, the anchors are no longer visible after some time and only the vegetation can be seen
• These anchors can be installed by any certified Contractor
• Pull-out tests are performed immediately
• Finally, these anchors can also be combined with various retaining walls to reduce their dimensions (e.g., shorter geogrid lengths, shallower gravity walls...)
