Environmental action plan in Quebec, New Brunswick, the N.W.T. and Nunavut
JPC Consultants inc. prepares your environmental action plan in Quebec City and across Quebec, so that the key stages of your project comply with applicable standards and laws.
Our approach
A PAPE that reflects site reality
An action plan is usually required to comply with applicable standards and laws. We prepare PAPEs (environmental protection action plans) so that the key stages of your project are properly followed.
The plan sets out the planned measures, responsibilities and means of follow-up during construction. Every stakeholder knows what to do to protect the environment.
PAPEs are prepared in collaboration with the project manager, so they reflect site reality and remain workable in the field.
We also work in remote or northern areas, where site conditions require special attention.
Preparing it early lets prevention measures be built into work planning, rather than added along the way. Those responsible know from the start what is expected.
- PAPEs that meet requirements
- Collaboration with the project manager
- Clear measures and responsibilities
- Follow-up of key stages
Understanding
What does an environmental action plan contain?
An environmental protection action plan describes how the work will be carried out while protecting the environment. It identifies site sensitivities, applicable requirements and the measures planned to meet them.
The plan also sets out who does what, and when. Each measure is assigned to a person in charge and a means of follow-up, so that it is actually applied in the field.
Work near water often requires special attention, for example for erosion and sediment control.
Because it is prepared with the project manager, the plan remains workable in the field. The planned measures match the actual work methods and the key stages of the site.
