Privacy policy

JPC Consultants inc., 805, avenue du Bon-Air, Quebec City (Quebec) G1V 2P1, is responsible for the personal information it holds. The company's owner acts as the person responsible for the protection of personal information.

The site has no form. We only collect what you voluntarily send us by phone or email: your name, your contact information, the description of your project and the documents you attach.

If you apply for a job, we also receive your résumé and the information in your application.

Our host may keep technical logs (IP address, device type) to keep the site secure and working. We do not collect sensitive information through the site.

Your information is used to answer your request, contact you, prepare and carry out a mandate and, where applicable, assess your job application.

We do not sell or rent your information.

The site only uses the cookies needed for it to work and to remember your choice. No analytics or marketing cookie is active at the moment, and no third-party analytics tool, such as Google Analytics, is used.

Our host adds a technical tool to the site that measures the pages viewed, the site's performance and errors, and may record an anonymized sample of browsing, without sensitive fields. It is only used to keep the site working properly.

If we ever add optional cookies, they will stay off until you give your consent:

• Analytics: anonymized audience measurement.
• Marketing: campaign measurement and targeted advertising.

You can reject, accept or change your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it. Your choice is kept for 13 months at most.

Only the people in the company who need it to handle your request have access to it. We use service providers (site hosting, email, web fonts) who process information on our behalf.

Some of these providers may process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. In that case, the information remains protected by these providers' security measures and contractual commitments.

You may at any time:

• ask for access to the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask for its deletion, or for it to stop being disseminated;
• withdraw your consent;
• ask for a copy of your information in a structured, technological format (portability);
• object to its use.

If you believe we have not answered your request properly, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec: cai.gouv.qc.ca.

The information you send us is kept for as long as needed to handle your request or carry out the mandate, and as required by applicable law, then destroyed or anonymized. Job applications are kept for the duration of the hiring process.

We implement reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, unauthorized access or disclosure. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned.

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
